Jimmy Poindexter's Variety Comedy "The JIMMY Show" Is In The Works
JIMMY returns to television by starring in and executive producing two new projects.

American recording artist & producer JIMMY is currently in the works of starring in and producing two original TV series. One will be a variety-style series titled "The JIMMY Show." The series will showcase JIMMY in new lights we've yet to see him in by combining elements of sketch comedy, mockumentary-style television, reality, animation and late night with music performances & behind the scenes footage.
"I'm the new guy in the culture and I can do a lot. So I just wanted a direct way to show the world how musically talented, funny and thoughtful I am because no one really knows me yet." Poindexter says. "So I came up with a concept that could put that on display and consistently put me on people's screens every week in an entertaining way. Thus came the show."
This has been a busy year for the LA-based artist with both his albums *GHETTOLAND and DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY reaching over 1.3 million streams combined on Spotify and attracting new audiences above the 20k follower mark across social media. All eyes are on JIMMY as he paves a new blueprint for the independent artist to take notes on.
